Maintenance InstructionCU 5000 seriesMaintenance recommendations:After use (every time) • Wear full protective gear during maintenance Revision 04-17• Always act according to the safety instructions as supplied with each tool!Necessary equipment: WD-40, soft cloth, Teflon lubrication oil, Philips screw driverContact the Holmatro dealer if one of the items does not function properly!Step 1 • Check the general condition of the tool • Check for oil leakage (clean/dry the tool with a soft cloth)• Check the readability of the identification / safety label, replace ifunreadable • Lightly oil steel parts with preservative oil WD40 before storing• Store the tool with the tips of the blades overlapping as shown in the pictureStep 2 Check:• The proper functioning of the deadman’s handle • The control handle moves smoothly• The control handle returns to the neutral position • The dust cap is firmly attachedHolmatro Rescue Equipment B.V.
