With a catalog of 956 products, Scherzinger supplies gear pumps in material versions of stainless steel, Hastelloy C-22 and PEEK for corrosive, toxic and flammable media. All Scherzinger pumps are available in sanitary versions for pharmaceutical production processes, including versions compliant with FDA guidelines for GMP-certified production lines.
Scherzinger gear pumps (5040-series) are the core products for precise fluid dosing and flow measurement. The 5040-350-ZK90-160-series are Hastelloy gear pumps designed for transport of strongly corrosive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and organic acids. Hastelloy C-22 material choice offers superior corrosion resistance in oxidizing and reducing acid environments compared to standard stainless steel (316L). Flow capacities from 0.04 to 50 liters per minute and pressures up to 100 bar are available depending on pump size.
Scherzinger magnetically coupled gear pumps (4030-450-series and externally coupled 201922 models) eliminate the shaft seal by using a hermetically sealed magnetic coupling. Magnetic coupling prevents leakage of hazardous, toxic or valuable fluids and is required in many chemical processes where fluid emissions are unacceptable. Magnetically coupled pumps are ATEX-certified for use with flammable fluids (Zone 1/2) without the risk of shaft seal leakages. The magnetic coupling is designed for a service life of more than 10 years under correct operating conditions and requires no periodic maintenance.
Scherzinger magnetic coupling assemblies (120532, 120533-series) are available as separate coupling components for installation in customer-specific pump housings. The Bell G7 magnetic coupling sets (Ø14, 2.2 Nm) are designed for smaller flow applications in laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Flow dividers (20920 DM/EX/HF-series) accurately divide one incoming fluid flow across multiple output channels for balanced multi-point dosing systems.

History
Scherzinger Pump Technology GmbH was founded in 1957 in Furtwangen, Germany, in the Black Forest, as a manufacturer of precision gear pumps for industrial and scientific applications. The company specialized early in developing pump solutions for aggressive and hazardous fluids that rapidly attack standard pump materials. In the 1980s, Scherzinger was among the first to introduce Hastelloy gear pumps for the chemical and petrochemical industries, setting a new standard for corrosion-resistant fluid transport and establishing long-term partnerships with leading chemical manufacturers. Scherzinger was a pioneer in magnetically coupled gear pumps for the chemical industry. The company has maintained its production facilities in Furtwangen, Germany and is active in more than 50 countries through an international network of specialized distributors.
